On the night of Tuesday 3rd October 2017, the Royal Yorkshire Lodge conducted a ceromony of Raising for Bro Gavin Douglas. Bro Douglas who has been with the lodge for over a year was finally raised in an excellent ceromony. A number of brethren assisted with the ceromony including the Senior Warden WBro Chris Wilcock giving an excellent traditional history.

The lodge liason officer WBro Graham Lake congratulated the Worshipful Master Bro Tony Edgar and his team on putting on such a good ceromony. The ceromony was followed by an excellent festive board where the raffle raised £75.

In responding to the candidates toast Bro Douglas thanked his proposer and seconder as well as the lodge. He described the expetience as “one he would never forget”.
