On Tuesday 2nd October, the Royal Yorkshire Lodge conducted a ceremony of Initiation for Bro Andrew Conner. The meeting was well attended with 23 members and visitors. Bro Conner who has been attending lodge social functions for some time finally decided to become a member.
The Worshipful Master WBro Neil Armitage was the candidates proposer and long personal friend said “I believe Bro Conner will be a credit to the Lodge”. Bro Conner was seconded by WBro Leslie Allinson .
The meeting was followed by an excellent three course festive board. Bro Conner concluded by saying “I didn’t know what to expect but it was a unique and enjoyable experience. I hope to become a useful and productive member of this lodge”.
