On Wednesday 8th August, the Royal Yorkshire Lodge hosted members of the Keighley History Scoiety during an open evening. The evening was attended by 17 members of the society. The members of the society were lead on a guided tour of the lodge rooms by Bro Peter Clarke, WBro Andrew Harrision and WBro David Key. The tour included showing off the historic temple and a number of important historical artifacts and documents which belonged to the Lodge.
The tour was also preceded by a short talk by Bro Peter Clarke on the subject of Heraldry in Masonry. WBro Andrew Harrision said “the Royal Yorkshire Lodge has a long and proud history. It was a pleasure to be able to share it with the Society”.
