Lodge Initiates a new member

On Tuesday 7th June, the Royal Yorkshire Lodge conducted a ceremony of initiation for Daniel Lenczewski. It was a ceremony that was well attended by a number of members and visitors. As an engineer Bro Lenczewski said he had had an interest in freemasonry for a long time and said he was glad to be able to finally join a lodge. The Master WBro David Key said “it was great to see the lodge attracting new members… and to start performing ceremonies after such a long time.

Bro Lenczewski went on to say the ceremony “was a very unique experience and wasn’t what I had expected… I hope to see it again in the near future”. The IPM WBro Mark went onto say that Bro Lenczewski had been “an excellent candidate… [and would] an excellent addition to the lodge.

The evening was completed with an excellent Festive Board that was well attended. The lodge also held a raffle in aid of the provincial Ukrainian appeal.
